An established and internationally successful pharmaceutical company is seeking to recruit a Quality Assurance Specialist for a fixed term contract position.
Candidates for this Quality Assurance Specialist position must have experience in the review and approvals process for changes in documentation as well as in the development and of the quality management system as a Quality Assurance Specialist or Engineer. A degree qualification in science or engineering is preferred as well as 3-4 years experience in quality management in the pharmaceutical or related sectors. Candidate experience should include strong experience leading investigations into non-conformances and quality assurance audits as well as good multi-tasking and prioritization abilities.
The main duties for the quality assurance specialist position include:
· developing quality performance indicators
· Supporting the complaint handling process
· Ensuring that relevant procedures are appropriate and updated as necessary.
· Maintaining quality system with particular emphasis on compliance to FDA standards
· Liaising effectively with all departments on quality matters
· Report on issues/developments in quality assurance to management and proactively looking to resolve issues that may arise.
· Conduct appropriate training in quality
· Liaise with third parties in relation to complaint handling and the relevant systems/centres appropriate for this
