Our client is seeking software engineers for a range of positions (3-10 years experience) in a multinational operating in Galway . Very attractive salary and benefit packages are available. Windows server development is a must as is C++/C# development. Suitable engineers will be responsible for design, documentation, implementation, unit testing and defect fixing activity.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and does ongoing modification of software components.
  • Interacting with Development, QA and Support teams as required.
  • Design and implement enhancement feature requests to increase product functionality as required.
  • Some roles will involve handling and resolving customer issues whereas more senior positions will involve directing junior staff and collaborating with teams on a global scale.
Skills & Exp.

  • Windows server development a must.
  • C++/C# development a must, multi-threading is important.
  • 3-10+ years of software development (Roles for all levels of experience within this bracket)
  • OOP experience is crucial for some roles.
  • Experience of developing in a virtualized environment is preferential for senior positions.
  • A 3rd level degree in technical/engineering field.
