Corporate Finance Manager

Dublin City

This company, a Plc based inDublincity, is hiring a Corporate Finance Manager to join their acquisitions team and work closely with Senior Management & Directors on strategic and corporate development initiatives

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with senior management on strategic and corporate development initiatives
  • Perform research on business opportunities, including acquisitions, partnerships, licensing deals and various internal projects
  • Develop memoranda, presentations, and detailed financial analyses and deliver output in a concise and focused manner
  • Present and communicate findings to a range of audiences at different levels of detail
  • Participate in all phases of the transaction lifecycle, including identification, assessment, due diligence, negotiations and closing
  • Provide cross functional support to product management, sales, and other departments as required to support company initiatives on an ad hoc basis


Required Experience
  • Undergraduate degree with concentration in accounting, finance, economics, etc.
  • 4+ years of experience in Big 4 public accounting or equivalent - Transaction Services/Corporate Finance.
  • Pharmaceutical or health care experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial modelling and valuations.
  • Strong report writing skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word


Skill Set
  • Highly motivated self starter
  • Strong and flexible communication skills, able to converse intelligently with a wide variety of audiences (internal management, bankers, lawyers, etc.)
  • Strong numerical/analytic background, able to think deeply about technical and business issues
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Flexibility and ability to multi-task within tight deadlines
  • Team player with the ability to contribute both individually and as part of a small team
