Our Multinational Client based in the Midwest has a requirement for a Core Developer.

Duties:
· This individual will work mainly on the appliance side (load balancer internals) of the product.

· Familiar with taking requirements and producing functional specifications.

· Applicants must have 5 to 10 years Linux systems programming experience.

· A solid understanding of IP-based protocols.

· Knowledge of building highly-available systems and bullet-proof code is essential.

· Knowledge of application level protocols such as HTTP, SNMP etc. would be beneficial.

· Device driver experience would be an advantage.

· Load balancing, intrusion detection, firewall, iptables, SSL knowledge would be an advantage.

· Experience working in a productization environment and team.

· Can program C/C++. Java would be an advantage.
